We just tell our users to click CTRL+K in (IE is our standard browser) to open a new tab that opens the login page if their session is expired, login and close the new tab.
Patrick, There was some discussion here as well: How can we notify user of session timeout before clicking Save? <https://communities.bmc.com/message/237619> In that discussion there were a few customizations discussed but from the looks of your post on the Communities you also dove pretty deep into customizing the jsp pages. Maybe there is a tidbit that will help? Ultimately I think the only real (reliable) solution is for BMC to enhance how this feature works. I thought this had been submitted as an Idea in the BMC Communities but I must have been thinking about the discussion I mentioned above. Looks like it is time for that Idea to be submitted.
