Thank you Doug for the clarification. I did a test and here's what I got: on v7.6.04 - I got a warning on Dev Studio - Message - Index length longer than 255 bytes may not work on all databases: AR System Email Messages. Code - 8037.
on v5.1.2 - I got an ERROR - ARERR 210 - Total length of all fields involved in an index is greater than the maximum length allowed.
