Description Key Role: Develop, maintain, enhance, and deploy custom built applications while adhering to strict development and integration standards. Review system requirements for completeness, provide gap analysis, ensure that functional requirements and objectives are met, and provide a technical advisory role of system capabilities and limitations during requirements gathering sessions with business analysts and process owners. Translate requirements into application and user interface designs, develop end-to-end solutions in accordance with requirements and development standards with minimal oversight and supervision, and develop and present proof-of-concept, prototype, and capability demonstrations to ensure acceptance of application design. Provide cross-system integration with RightNow Technologies CRM and other external system interfaces; develop and integrate external system interfaces via Web services, console applications, and API libraries. Support data import and migration efforts through the development and maintenance of SQL Server SSIS jobs. Provide RightNow Technologies CRM administration, including configuring, maintaining, enhancing, and deploying incident management capabilities entailing custom workspaces, workflow, business rules, scripts, guided assistance, custom objects, and other RNT system capabilities. Basic Qualifications: -10+ years of experience with developing software applications with dynamic form-based user interfaces, workflow to support business processes, and integration across multiple systems -5+ years of experience with BMC Remedy custom application development, including v7.0 or greater -2+ years of experience with building and maintaining client relationships in a team based government or professional services environment -Ability to construct advanced SQL queries for database views and reports -Ability to translate requirements into application design utilizing best practice technical solutions -Ability to communicate proposed application design to stakeholders with limited technical knowledge and with client leadership and technical staff -Ability to troubleshoot applications at the user, workflow, and database level -BA or BS degree Additional Qualifications: -3+ years of experience with relational database management system development -Experience with RightNow Technologies CRM, including August 2009 release or greater -Experience with Visual Studio 2010, including C# or VB.NET application development and Excel VBA 2007 or greater -Possession of excellent oral and written communications skills -BA or BS degree in CS or a related field of study Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; DHS Suitability is required.
