We're looking for 2 BBSA specialists to work remotely the majority of the time with limited travel to Dallas/Atlanta. We're looking to hire full time or contractors. Position Summary: As a result of our continued success we are currently seeking to add to our team a Bladelogic Engineer. Candidate will work collaboratively with partner teams to develop and create and integrated cloud solutions to modernize server automation efforts within a major telecommunications company. Position Responsibilities: * BMC Datacenter Automation products such as Bladelogic, BSA (Server Automation) a must * Programming concepts and development lifecyclVirtualization technologies (e.g. VMware, Xen, Amazon) * Has designed an IT automation solution that automates system administration workflows and tasks * Experience with virtualization (VMWARE, Hyper-V, Xen) and cloud deployment * Experience with integrating various ITSM tools (BMC Remedy, HP ServiceDesk) * Understanding of project life cycle * Packaging and Scripting languages (Jumpstart, Kickstart, csh, ksh) Position Requirements: * 5+ years consulting experience * Possesses the ability to think through a problem and design a solution on paper or whiteboard before beginning build * Possesses excellent written and verbal communication skills with both the technical and non-technical customer facing audience * Systems Integration experience using various technologies, including but not limited to web services, HTTP and CLI a must * Java development experience a must * Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Object Oriented Programming a must * Intermediate knowledge of XML and related technologies a must * Existing proficiency of XPATH / XSLT nice to have, if not must be able to learn quickly * Intermediate Systems Administration experience a must * Has integrated multiple systems using one or more of the technologies mentioned above * Highly motivated, fast and proactive learner, enterprising, excellent team player, also able to work autonomously Desired Skills: * Established IT Operations methodology experience * Provisioning and configuring network devices * Expertise on Compliance, Reporting, Patch management and Provisioning (Solaris & Linux) * Orchestration tools such as Atrium Orchestrator, Opalis is a plus * BMCs ITSM suite including SRM and Remedy a plus Desired education, certifications, skills, experience: * Bachelor of Science degree in a technical field (Computer Science, Information Systems) Windward strives to attract and retain the best individuals and provide an environment where they can all grow professionally and build a rewarding career.
