Global field (GF) data is stored in a cookie so it makes sense why a GF
wouldn't behave as expected in private/incognito mode. These modes where
not common when GFs were introduced.

A GF isn't needed to pass data back and forth between windows though. Do
you need a GF for some functionality of your UI to work? If not I say ditch
the GF and just use a Field ID in the normal customer range to see if that
helps.

Another thing to consider is set the value from the table field to a
character field on the flag window before the Commit action and map the
char field in your Close windows.
