Josh:

Is this migration between two systems on the same versions of ITSM (such as
from Prod to Qual, if, say, you wanted your test environment data to mirror
what's in Production) or a migration of data from one version of ITSM to
another where a straight out upgrade doesn't make sense? Like with us, we had
a group that piloted ITSM on 7.6.03 I think it was before we went live with
ITSM to the enterprise. We decided to go live with 7.6.04 for the enterprise
rollout, and while the 7.6.03 pilot installation could technically have been
upgraded, there were various reasons that led us to start from scratch with a
new installation of 7.6.04. As part of our rollout we had to migrate the
piloting group's tickets from the 7.6.03 to the 7.6.04 enterprise installation.

Thank you for your answer.

I am migrating data from one system to another. Therefore, I am exporting the
HPD:Help Desk ticket and the SLM:Measurement data. Ultimately, it will get
joined back together again in the new system.
