Chris,
Do you mean the top level from the root of the drive?
I unzipped the ARSSUITEKIT in the E:\Downloads folder on my VM Windows 2008 R2.
So make a folder called DISK1 at the root?

Thank you,

Hi John,

Try renaming the folder where your installer is located to Disk1.

I have had to do this before.

Chris

Subject: ARSUITEKIT 8.1 install asks for the location of Disk1

Hello Listers,

ARS 8.1.00 migrating from one remote MSSQL server to another.
I had the current development db copied and restored onto the production db
server.
I changed the name of the db-server in the ar.cfg file to point to the
production db server and ran the installation suite kit.
After checking all of the db connection parameters I continue the install but
the installer asks for new media or a location for DISK1.
O choose the browse button and navigate to the location drive (E: DATA) and
continue.
Still prompts me for new media or the location of Disk1.

Has anyone seen this and is it a bug with the 8.1.00 installer?

Thank you,
