Thanks for your inputs.
Would like to know if enabling the object relationships in the server
information a good recommendation ? We could see slowness in the application
servers when this option was enabled. For now we have disabled this option in
all the environment due to slowness.
Thanks PB

That is interesting. I thought it is supposed to have the opposite effect?
We have it turned on in all of our environments except for production and do
not notice any issues. Maybe only being a team of 4 with multiple environment
we don't overlap much during our development?

Hi Prathap ,

Development Cache Mode also makes things slow when multiple developers use

the same server to do development.

We have had to change our development server to switch off Development

Cache Mode to get things to run smoothly.

Development Cache Mode improves performance only if a single developer is

working on the dev server.

Development cache mode is intended for servers whose main purpose is

application development. It is unsuitable for servers with many application

users in a production environment because user operations are blocked when

administrative operations, such as form and workflow changes, occur. This is

especially noticeable when many structures are changed, such as when an

application is imported. This often gives the false impression that the

server is hung.

Hi Experts,

Can you someone let me know the significance of "Development cache mode".

Does this have an effect on the application server performance ?

When this option needs to be enabled ?

How is this different from the normal mode ( dev cache mode = disabled) ?
