I've seen definitions get fouled like this due to a bug in older versions of dev studio.
Export the report creator form + all related objects to a def or XML file. Grep for "dummy.host.com". If you find it, that's probably what happened. >From there, you should be able to figure out which objects are affected and try to fix them in dev studio (or if you'readventurous text search/replace in the def file an re-import).
