Location: Reston, VA Duration: 6 months+ Client is upgrading their IT Service Management solution to BMC Remedy version 8.1. Job duties involve, but not limited to: * Migrate / develop customized code utilizing overlay capability to enhance the out-of-the-box ITSM applications and CMDB. * Responsibilities includes tasks in the full upgrade and development lifecycle, not limited to: o Define the requirements from the users and process owners, o Analyze requirements and make recommendation to utilize out-of-the-box solutions, o Document the design, o Develop Remedy application customizations, code and application configurations, integration development, o Perform unit testing, o Facilitate SIT/UAT and resolve issues, o Document implementation and back-out plans, o Support deployment into non-production and production environments, o Document release notes o help with training and document job aids * Follow release guidelines and change process, furnish required artifacts based on the change process. * Support the Remedy application development (code) issues in production and perform hot fixes/enhancements. Qualification: * 5-7 years of experience with BMC Remedy implementation, development and upgrade. * Experience with developing custom Remedy AR applications. * Hands on experience with installation, configuration and development of Remedy application. * Troubleshooting product issues in working with product vendor and customer. * Experience with developing & migrating code and data into Remedy environments.
