I’m on 8.1 and there’s nothing out of the box to solve your problem that I am aware of. However, group emails have a separate format so would it be helpful to include the group name in those? A person should know whether or not they are a part of the support group.
Barring that, I’d think that you could write some filters to determine if the person is the original approver or a member of the support group and if not, alter the email message. However if request should be approved by one person from the list (member of the approver group) and some of people have an alternates it would not work. We just want to indicate on the “alternate approver” email that it is an “alternate”. This is remedy 7.5 yet. If there are some option on 8.x I can just postpone this implementation. Thanks. It certainly will be beneficial if alternate approver’s email indicate that this is the email to approve on behalf of the other person. Any recommendations?
