Position Summary The consultant selected will be under the direction of the HIR Enterprise Applications Remedy Team Manager and those designated to act on his/her behalf. The consultant will be expected to perform the analysis, integration, data and workflow development, documentation, testing, and implementation of solutions within the Remedy 8.x environment to support the forthcoming projects as directed. Should the consultant be delegated as the team lead on any of the forthcoming projects, he/she would be responsible for developing and maintaining a Work Breakdown Schedule (WBS). The consultant will be expected to perform the following duties in support of the WBS: * Perform and assist the CAO in the successful implementation of the project. * Perform and assist with the development of tasks, schedule, and planning for the configuration and implementation of the project. * Perform and assist with the development of best practices for the ongoing operations and maintenance activities of the project. * Perform and assist with the preparation of training materials for the project. The consultant will be expected to perform modifications/configuration of the Remedy ITSM 8.x modules, forms, workflow, interfaces and any other customization required to support the in-house processes as directed. The consultant will participate in the daily operations and management of the Remedy services by interacting with support staff and internal customers to provide the necessary systems support in regards to user accounts, reporting, and configuration data. Qualifications: * Work with customer stakeholders to identify, prioritize, and implement configurations or customizations to the existing BMC Remedy ITSM 8.xsolution * Review existing BMC Remedy ITSM 8.x solution functionality to identify and determine operational impact of implementing or not implementing enhancements based on industry and learned best-practices for service desk optimization * Review and recommend enhancements to BMC Remedy ITSM 8.x-enabled processes, leveraging IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL(r) v3 2011) guidance * Review, Validate, Design, and Deliver various levels of user training and documentation to facilitate consistent and predictable use of the BMC Remedy ITSM 8.x solution by system users * Develop and distribute work instruction-level documentation to graphically depict expected or desired input methods relating to ticket creation and any routing applicable * The successful candidate will have demonstrated knowledge or experience in one or more of the areas below. * Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience implementing, configuring, and customizing BMC Remedy ARS / ITSM systems * A high degree of interpersonal skill in working with various levels of technical and business oriented individuals is required. * Prior experience in a consulting environment is preferred. * Degree in CS, EE or related MIS field preferred Windward IT Solutions is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
