I just remembered that it is pretty easy to confirm things with a few minutes looking on the web. There is this cool web site http://archive.org/web/web.php that you can go to and enter any web address you want - say you entered www.remedy.com<http://www.remedy.com> just to pick something (or you could pick www.bmc.com<http://www.bmc.com> for 2002 and later). It will then show you a timeline of snapshots of the web site address. You can then pick any snapshot and see the web site from that point in time. Links on the page are active to links to pages from that time as well. The www.remedy.com<http://www.remedy.com> shows the earliest snapshot in 1997. But, for example, I went to 2005 (OK, it showed me the BMC page as www.remedy.com<http://www.remedy.com> redirected to BMC by that time) and picked a snapshot from June 8 and it showed me a page (not real pretty, but it had all the data) and there it listed the BMC Remedy User Group from 11 - 15 July, 2005 in San Jose, CA. So, you already have the information you need, but I have used this web site on a number of occasions to find the state of a web site or information on it at some point in the past -- always amusing if there happens to have been a snapshot of a website while something a company tried later to remove or change and you can get back to what it was before they changed it.... This should allow confirmation of all dates/locations from 1997 and later if that information was ever up on the web site (and it should have been in all years). Now, for those who never knew about this site, your productivity has likely just plunged as you go and play with a new toy! I think RUG was 2005, there was a WARUG in July 2004. Still looking for final confirmation Once those two are filled in I will repost for those that might care to know.
