All, I am on a 7.1 ar system and Mid-tier is 7.1 as well. Windows 2003. Tomcat version 5.5.34. I can start tomcat with Local System as the service account. I can't start tomcat with service account name. This use to work but we had to change the Domain name of the service account and now I have the problem of not being able to start tomcat. I attempts to start but then I get the error that Windows could not start tomcat on local computer. The configuration for tomcat has the correct domain/service account name. Also in the ar.cfg file for the Db User: I had to set the new domain name. The Windows SA are telling that something in tomcat or the Mid tier must have a reference to the old Domain name.
