Believe it or not, most of the problems I have had running Remedy in a VM are directly related to the Host not allocating sufficient resources, or having too many VM's and not enough resources to go around. I have also had a weird 'random reboot' scenario where all VM's on a host are rebooted when the host is running AMD processors....this is apparently confirmed by VMWare as a processor problem, and the 'ball' is in AMD's court to get it fixed....beyond those issues, I haven't had problems running Remedy app servers in a VM...in fact...believe it or not, my current Production DB is a VM as well :)
