Kathy, QBE applies solely to values entered IN the field, so if your QBE is set to Anywhere, that means that you can put 1425 into the field, and it'll do an 'anywhere' search and return any results specified. When you are using the Advanced Search bar, you are specifying your own qualification, so you are saying =, which the request id doesn't =, so no results.
