ITSM v.8.01.01, and ADDM v 10. Our ITSM is upgraded from 7.6.04. Since the upgrade I have noticed an issue with the setting of the status value from ADDM. Example: Router_1 was on the network, discovered and made it to CMDB cleanly. Router_1 was taken off the network, and ADDM eventually set the mark as delete flag to Yes, thus the status of the CMDB record was set to Delete. Later, Router_1 was put back on the network, ADDM found it, pushed it to match the same record in the CMDB (ADDM dataset) and set the mark as deleted flag to No. However, the asset status did not change for that record back to Deployed, it stayed Delete. So upon Reconciliation, the ASSET dataset version of the router stayed in a status of Delete.
Is anyone else seeing this happen in their environment? I would have thought that it should have set the status back to Deployed, but I suspect the move to put status in the Asset forms instead of the BMC.CORE forms may have caused this process to no longer function properly.
