Personally, I haven't used DDE.ini in years, but you could try something like
this:
Command1=[App.Minimize()]
Command2=[NEW("G:\ABC\ARS-files\rek.xlt")]
Command3=[PASTE()]
Command4=[CLOSE(1)]
Command5=[App.Maximize()]

Hi,
I have a client experiencing problems with ARUser.exe and exporting data to
excel through the report to application functionality.
The dde.ini works fine for older versions of Excel, and also works fine for
Excel 2013 if it is ALREADY OPEN.
If Excel is NOT open when doing this, it seems like Excel takes too much time
to start, and the PASTE operation fails. Only the empty template is opened.
Any ideas on how to fix this? Maybe some kind of Pause-command?
