What about some kind of visualization plugin? Calendaring or
relationship/dependencies (CMDB like). ITSM has these but for us custom
shops we get no love. You could likely build more versatile (non-ITSM
dependent) plugins then BMC that both ITSM and custom shops would want to
use :)

Maybe even a framework that can work with (free) existing visualization
technologies (maps, tag clouds, timelines, Gantt, update
records/relationships by image drag and drop)? Not to duplicate Flashboard
functionality (charts and graphs) but to go beyond Flashboards (or where
FB's might be today if they were keeping up with current-day webby tech).

Remedy is great for capturing data and doing something with it but it would
be great to be able to add more of a visual representation of data.

Or of course you could create your own version of server-side events REF: Use
Push Technology for creating real-time Remedy Applications
<https://communities.bmc.com/ideas/3406>. I'll quote my friend LJ - "I have
often wanted RED functionality...or server side 'Push' technology....it
would truly open up new doors of interactivity from the server to the
client."
