As Fred pointed on a separate response, this could be due to an incompatible java version. Check the version of java that Tomcat is using.

If it still does not work, a little more information on the error would help. I've been asked to do one and although everything seems to Install correctly (JRE/JDK, Tomcat) it gets errors when I try to Do a config.jsp .
