I tried both on Windows XP Pro Version 2 SP 2 with WinZip 9.0 SR-1 (6224) and on SunOS 5.9 on a Sun4U sparc and gunzip 1.3.3. Maybe I am having a wrong file ? No clue because it should be it. Right ? So what is going wrong here? Any other idea? Serouche
