many thanks to you Michiel and also to Brent Bowman, Scott and Mark for the feedbacks. Hopefully I'll be able to do something useful with them. By the time I have another problem which is somehow related to this actual post. Here it is:
> make test cc -c -I/opt/remedy/api/include -D_LARGEFILE_SOURCE -D_FILE_OFFSET_BITS=64 -xO3 -xdepend -DVERSION=\"1.84\" -DXS_VERSION=\"1.84\" -KPIC -I/usr/perl5/5.6.1/lib/sun4-solaris-64int/CORE -g -DARS32 -DARS452 -DPERL_PATCHLEVEL_IS=6 -DPERL_SUBVERSION_IS=1 -DPERL_BASEREV_IS=50 ARS.c sh: cc: not found *** Error code 1 make: Fatal error: Command failed for target `ARS.o' I am suspecting an issue with the c compiler. But at this stage I don't dare to contact my sys admins for some reasons. Or better to say I would prefer resolving my problems myself. Anyway therefore I though maybe I could try another machine. But before spending time on this new task I'd like to have some outputs from you guys. I assume as experts you gonna give me some useful thoughts. Many thanks in advance.
