You have to use the field ID of "T_Status".
Moreover, T_Status is probably a selection field (radio button or 
dropdown list), and you have to use the numerical value of "work in 
progress", e.g.

ars_SetEntry($c, $schema, $entry, 0, 536870915, 2 )
