Hi,

take a look on the installation file in the ARSperl distribution:

"Perl 5.x with the dynamic loading option compiled in."

anyway you need these packets installed:

ARSperl-1.90
Data-DumpXML-1.06
Array-RefElem-1.00
linux_api512.tar ( this isn't the lastest version)

Hope its help.

2007/6/13, Ravi <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>:

Hi: I am getting the following error when I try to run a perl script that
uses ARS Perl

Can't load
'/usr/local/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.8.7/sun4-solaris/auto/ARS/ARS.so' for
module ARS: ld.so.1: perl: fatal: libicudatabmc.so.32: open failed: No
such
file or directory at /usr/local/lib/perl5/5.8.7/sun4-solaris/DynaLoader.pm
line 230.
at ./Get_Diary.pl line 32
Compilation failed in require at ./Get_Diary.pl line 32.

I copied the api dir to /usr/arsapi/ before compiling/installing ARS Perl.
I
do see the file libicudatabmc.so.32
bash-2.05$ find /usr/arsapi/ -name libicudatabmc.so.32
/usr/arsapi/lib/libicudatabmc.so.32

When I installed ARS API I set
$ARSAPI     = "/usr/arsapi";

Any ideas?

Thanks
Ravi
