Dear All, Anybody experienced the problem of saving data on a Mac machine using artemis? Is this a known bug?
Problem is as following: On a OS X machine, I used artemis to open the Genbank format data, modified it, and "save as default entry". Closed it and tried to re-opened it. It failed by saying something like ".. line contains illegal symbol". Looking into the data by text editor, you will find that some parts of the sequence body are messed up. Fetch the fresh sequence data, do it again. You will fail and got other parts sequence messed up. I tried the same operationd on SUN and PC. Both are fine. Obviously, it's Mac-specific bug. Hope the author or other user has patch on this soon. Thanks! Chunyu
