I'm attempting to load up annotations in gff format to artemis. I can succesfully read in sequence files, and the default fields for defining an orf. However, when I use the attribute field in GFF, it is not parsed properly into artemis. Specifically, when i include a note in the form
note "this is a defline" ; it is not appearing in the note attribute in artemis. Should artemis be able to understand these attribute fields in GFF? thanks, --David Goodstein Joint Genome Institute
