Morgan,
You should select your region, and then chose "Edit"; "Edit
subsequence (and features)". This will create a new artemis window
with that sequence and its features only. You can then save the file
of files from this window.
If the features were originally in the same file as the sequence,
they will be in a single entry in the subsequence window. If they
were in two or more entries, they will be be that number of entries
that will need to be saved separately.

Hello,
I am trying to create a new embl (or genbank) file that contains a
subset of features and the corresponding subsequence from a complete
genome embl file.
I have been able to successfully export the features or the sequence,
but not together. Also, I can not concatenate the feature and sequence
files together since the coordinates would not match. Is there
anyway to
do this within Artemis?
Thanks!
