Hi Torsten

Yes this is already available:

It is possible to add user plots from the command line using the JVM userplot option, e.g.

art -Duserplot=/pathToFile/userPlot

and for multiple plots this is comma separated

art -Duserplot='/pathToFile/userPlot1,/pathToFile/userPlot2', it

can also read the plots from URL's.

Regards
Tim

Tim,

./art -Doffset=12500 -Dbam=/path/file.bam ~/foo.embl + ~/foo.gff

This is excellent!

Will we be able to do the same for .userplot files soon?

eg
% ./art -Doffset=12500 -Dbam=/path/file.bam -Dplot=foo.userplot
~/foo.embl + ~/foo.gff
OR
% ./art -Doffset=12500 -Dbam=/path/file.bam ~/foo.embl + ~/foo.gff @
~/foo.userplot
