Hi Yoav,

I want to set up two instances, one as a primary and other as secondary with
both runnign paralle.. But I do not necessarily want to create and maintain two
copies of installation. Soemhow if I can configure one and other can use it.

Subject: Re: [Artifactory-users] How to configure two instances from single
installation

I am afraid that wouldn't be feasible since Artifactory assumes exclusive
access to the data.
It is possible, however, to use mutual proxying between the repositories,
import and export general and security config via REST, etc.

What is your specific use case? There may be alternative ways to achieve what
you are after.

Hi,

I want to set up two artifactory instances, one runnign on windows and one on
UNIX. I am using Oracle as my database.
I want to know if there is a way, I can set up two instnces from one
installtion which will share the data and the artifactory.config.xml file?

I do not want to create two copy instance, just want to be able to run twon
instances from same installation location.

Any help appreciated.

Thanks,

Jayesh
