Hello,
I recently moved our artifactory to a enw server and upgraded to
2.2.2 at the same time. As we only had a few artifacts which were not
autoatically downloaded I just installed a vanilla Arifactory on my new
server and manually uploaded the new artifacts. I then blew away my local
repos (on my laptop, the client machine, the one where elcipse is running)
and forced a maven update across everything. This mostly work but I now
have three problems:
1. I get 'CHECKSUM FAILED - Error retrieving checksum file for <snip>' on
every artifact I have manually uploaded. I have found something about the
localRepoChecksumPolicyType in my config file and in posts but not much in
the manual. There is obvioulsy something I'm doing wrong here!
2. If I download a large number of artifacts at the same time - sometimes
the artifacts do not come down properly. I have on my local (again the
machine on my desk) machine the directory structure as in (this is only an
example I have many) org/swinglabs/swingx/0.94 and in there the files
swingx-0.9.4.jar.lastUpdated, swingx-0.9.4.jar.tmp and swingx-0.9.4.pom but
no actual jar. If I delete this directory structure and instruct maven to
try to download again it works. Note that if I do not delete this directory
structure and instruct maven download gain it simply says 'Missing artifact
org.freemarker:freemarker:jar:2.3.9:compile'.
The first is an annoyance, the second is a big problem - I can keep
deleting directories until everything is done but my team will quickly get
stressed if I have to tell them to keep deleting things in their local (as
in where they are using eclipse) machine. Any tips would be greatly
appreciated.
