Hi Tobias,
The Artifactory data contains your repository content + configuration. Your
cloning approach should work only if you are using the derby or
derby-filesystem storage types - in these cases, which are the ones used by
the default installation (see: Changing the Default
Storage<http://wiki.jfrog.org/confluence/display/RTF/Changing+the+Default+Storage>
).
if you are using an external db then of course you will have to clone it as
well and point your new artifactory repo.xml to use it.
