Hi,
To adequately specify the requirements, a couple more estimations are
required:
- Number of clients working with Artifactory (developers, build-servers,
etc.).
- Number of artifacts to be stored.
- Total physical size of artifacts to be stored.
For an average of ~50 developers, 1 build server, ~50,000 artifacts
weighing ~20GB, we recommend:
- Quad core CPU (dual will work too); Artifactory is built for a
multi-core environment, and will perform very badly on a single CPU.
- 8GB of RAM (4GB will also work).
- Fast local HD (no NFS).
- 64 bits OS and JVM.
- Tomcat + HTTPD setup.
Also, the performance of your network will have a large influence on the
general behavior.
HTH,
Noam

not days. Key insights are discussed in the 2010 Forrester Wave Report as
part of an in-depth evaluation of disaster recovery service providers.
