Hi, in the enterprise, i am working at, we are going to establish Artifactory. In the past we deployed our applications as jars on a file server. Our user used to download and execute those archives via a batch file. My question is what is the best way to get the archives as a user. Just putting the jars on the file server during the build process with Maven seems to be a bad way, since this would happen in the package phase, which is too early i think. In my opinion the best way to spread the jars is, that the user will download them from Artifactory. But to do this i need a program to download it via REST, or is there a tool for that? Or is there a even better way?
