Have you tried importing the repo defs?
Go to admin/configuration/repositories and in the remote repositories panel
click "Import".
Leave the url on "http://repo.jfrog.org/artifactory" (the artifactory public
demo) and click "Load". The Spring repos should be there pre-configured with
the good patterns and the correct URL. Select and import them.
If you find any issues with the current definitions let us know and we'll
look into it.
