Hi there,

I successfully deployed Artifactory 2.3.4.1 WAR file (with the customized
web.xml as per
http://wiki.jfrog.org/confluence/display/RTF/Deploying+on+IBM+Websphere
setup instructions ) to our WebSphere 7.0.0.19 instance. I was able to
upload artifacts and POM files and allow Artifactory to generate the
maven-metadata.xml files for me. While I am able to view the contents of
maven-metadata.xml (e.g. org/apache/maven/plugins/maven-metadata.xml) from
the Metadata view, I am not able to download the XML file through direct
HTTP. I am able to download the generated .sha1 and .md5 checksum files.

In another attempt I imported my local .m2 repository to Artifactory and was
able to download the maven-metadata-local.xml but it still fails when I try
to download maven-metadata.xml.

My issue appears to be similar to one
http://forums.jfrog.org/Able-to-view-pom-but-not-download-it-tp2646951p2646951.html
previously posted , but this time it is to do with maven-metadata.xml
instead of POM files.

Can someone suggest if there is any additional configuration that needs to
be set in WebSphere/Artifactory so that the maven-metadata.xml file can be
downloaded.
