Hi,

You can't really avoid addressing the artifact by its full timestamped
name; If you don't want to utilize Maven to resolve your dependencies, you
will have to either query and resolve the Maven metadata for yourself or
use the REST API to discover the contents of the files parent directory and
decide which artifact to use.

All the data continuously generated in your IT infrastructure
contains a definitive record of customers, application performance,
security threats, fraudulent activity, and more. Splunk takes this
data and makes sense of it. IT sense. And common sense.
