Artifactory analyzes poms before saving them, so from the error it looks
like the XML is invalid. Usually this can happen due to a wrong BOM in the
beginning of the file (non-visual in a plain text editor),
We should be able to verify it if you attach the pom or provide its
original location (copy-pasting the content will discrad this information).
