Information exists in DB and can accessed with SQL, but it is considered
internal and we have already changed the format
beween Artifactory versions, meaning your logic may break on upgrades.
Another things is that when querying you need to know when data is stale or
not, which is another internal implementation detail which is subject to
changes, and which we do not support as an API.
Therefore, the best way is to use the public APIs - through REST or via
plugins.
