Hi,

Currently promotion is only achievable via the Maven release plugin and
JFrog's different CI server integration plugins, but works are underway to
provide this functionality independently within Artifactory.
In the meantime you can also implement promotion within Artifactory by
utilizing Artifactory's User Plugins.
