Hello,
I think I messed up my artifactory installation after I "toyed" with in
order to get Maven Ecplise plug-in not displaying the outrageous "Archetype
Catalog Empty".
I really do not recall what I changed but it is probably in the security
settings.
Since then when I try to access the artifactory installation using
http://<hostname>/artifactory, I get a stack trace on the screen (and the
exact same stack trace in JBoss log file):
org.springframework.security.authentication.BadCredentialsException: Bad
credentials
org.springframework.security.authentication.dao.DaoAuthenticationProvider.additionalAuthenticationChecks(DaoAuthenticationProvider.java:71)
org.springframework.security.authentication.dao.AbstractUserDetailsAuthenticationProvider.authenticate(AbstractUserDetailsAuthenticationProvider.java:146)
org.artifactory.security.jcr.JcrAuthenticationProvider.authenticate(JcrAuthenticationProvider.java:48)
org.springframework.security.authentication.ProviderManager.doAuthentication(ProviderManager.java:130)
org.artifactory.security.RealmAwareAuthenticationManager.doAuthentication(RealmAwareAuthenticationManager.java:72)
org.springframework.security.authentication.AbstractAuthenticationManager.authenticate(AbstractAuthenticationManager.java:48)
org.artifactory.webapp.servlet.AccessFilter.useAnonymousIfPossible(AccessFilter.java:236)
org.artifactory.webapp.servlet.AccessFilter.doFilterInternal(AccessFilter.java:175)
org.artifactory.webapp.servlet.AccessFilter.doFilter(AccessFilter.java:141)
org.artifactory.webapp.servlet.RequestFilter.doFilter(RequestFilter.java:54)
org.artifactory.webapp.servlet.ArtifactoryFilter.doFilter(ArtifactoryFilter.java:66)
org.jboss.web.tomcat.filters.ReplyHeaderFilter.doFilter(ReplyHeaderFilter.java:96)
After having "googled" for some time, it looks like nobody else experience
the same issue (at least not exactly the same).
I tried the following:
- Re-deployed artifactory.war
- Re-started JBoss
- Re-started the server
but not to avail.
Please be aware that I'm completely new to Artifactory.
Thank you in advance for any help you may provide.
Brahim
