I'm testing a new Artifactory server (v2.5.1.1), that is to replace an existing
one (v1.2.5). The existing one can be accessed as "dav:http://........";, but
I've had to remove the "dav:" from those lines in the pom.xml files (the
developers are using Maven 2, if it matters, but I think not) , in order to
access the new server.

I don't really know much about dav. Does Artifactory provide this service, and
I've just not configured the new one, correctly, to accept the connection, or
does something else provide dav access and, if so, what and how do I configure
Artifactory to make use of it?

My apologies for what must surely be a noob question, but I haven't been able
to figure this out. My thanks, in advance, if you can help me sort it out.
