I have realized that Artifactory 2.6.1 under CentOS 6.2, is eating a lot of CPU on a machine with 8 cores, even though Artifactory is not being actively used.
As a matter of fact, it is so high the use of resources, that I've had to stop the Artifactory server. I have searched and have seen no recent issues in the bug repository. Has anyone else observed this behaviour? Thanks in advance for any tip.
