Hi folks, I'm moving over from using a different repository manager and I have run into a problem, which is that I have a build process which produces zip files as an output, which I want to store into Artifactory.
The issue is that Artifactory wants to treat that zip file as an archive of other artefacts, which is is not, so the upload process fails. Is there a way of disabling this behaviour in Artifactory? I don't mind if its for the entire install, a specific repository or even per-upload. I have noticed that if I rename the file to not be .zip then it does work, BUT this is a pretty nasty workaround as this file really is a zipfile and I would like to not have to change publish/deploy scripts to work around this issue. Am currently using the free version but don't mind upgrading to pro if that is how to fix it. I just haven't seen anything documented on how to turn this off. I think it would make sense to be able to configure this feature, otherwise Artefactory isn't a "drop in" replacement for other repositories, which is going to be a barrier to adoption (or even trial) for some people. Many thanks, Mark -- View this message in context: http://forums.jfrog.org/storing-artefacts-that-are-actually-zip-files-tp7578260.html Sent from the Artifactory - Users mailing list archive at Nabble.com. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Live Security Virtual Conference Exclusive live event will cover all the ways today's security and threat landscape has changed and how IT managers can respond.
