Tomasz, I am referring to metadata properties? That's exactly what the new
plugin extension allows you to control now.
Are you by any chance referring to the maven-metadata.xml file? If so, then
this technical index is best left to Artifactory to auto-generate centrally
(by setting the 'Maven Snapshot Version Behavior' on a local repo to
'Unique'), in order to avoid concurrent update race conditions and/or
timestamp skews between clients.
