I have mounted a windows share in /etc/fstab on the machine that runs
artifactory:

//fileshare.com/artifactory /media/backup/artifactory cifs
guest,uid=1000,iocharset=utf8,codepage=unicode,unicode 0 0

When I trigger (Run Now) a backup through the artifactory webinterface
(specifying the folder: /media/backup/artifactory) I get this in the log:

2012-12-21 11:08:34,608 [pool-1-thread-2] [INFO ]
(o.a.s.TaskServiceImpl:307) - Task org.artifactory.backup.BackupJob can run.

(o.a.s.ArtifactoryApplicationContext:589) - Failed to create backup dir:

/media/backup/artifactory/current

I have tried to run chown recursively on the mounted folder to make sure
that the process running artifactory can create folders/files on the mounted
drive. I have tested that I can copy a file from the home dir to the mounted
share (without having to use sudo) and it works fine.

Any ideas?
