Hi,
As you've noticed, it possible to basic proxying operations of Maven->Ivy
and Ivy->Maven; the reason this warning appears is that there are some
segments of either pattern which simply cannot be converted automatically.
The cross layout proxy should work with no problem when resolving different
release-version binary files; the troubles start with descriptors
(poms/ivy.xml) and integration revision artifacts.
