What you are asking can be achieved with the " Artifact Version Search query
<http://wiki.jfrog.org/confluence/display/RTF/Artifactory%27s+REST+API#Artifactory'sRESTAPI-ArtifactVersionSearch>
 
"
Which will give you a sorted list of all the versions of a specific groupId
and artifactId in local, remote or virtual repositories.
Notice that the top version returned in the list is always the latest
version, whether it's release or snapshot.
