I am confused with usage of artifactory when it comes to proxying public
repo.
In maven world if i create a remote repo and point to public repo, any one
can use our internal url to see things in the public repo and then i can
create virtual repos with combination of public repos.
In nuget .. i am trying to proxy public repo @ https://nuget.org/ .. i put
these configs :
url : https://nuget.org/
Feed context path : api/v2
Download context path : api/v2/package
and when i do "Get-Package -ListAvailable" it brings back nothing.
I tried using jfrog - demo site :
http://repo.jfrog.org/artifactory/api/nuget/nuget-gallery-cache which i
believe is proxying pubic repo .. but it actually gives an error :
M> Get-Package -ListAvailable
Get-Package : Object reference not set to an instance of an object.
Please let me know what is the missing piece ;-(
