Hi Jmanko.
1. The main goal of Artifactory is to concentrate all your binaries in one place. You can upload your binaries into Artifactory and use Artifactory as proxy to any remote repository. Yes, you should set your settings.xml to resolve artifacts from Artifactory; If you correctly configure your remote repositories in Artifactory, it will also fetch and cache remote artifacts for you. 2. Artifactory provides you a way to batch deploy artifacts from an archive. You can do it by browsing the UI to 'Deploy' -> 'Artifacts bundle'. The artifacts will be deployed to the repository in the same structure in which they are archived. 3. You said that no artifacts were published, did you saw some error message in the log? assuming that you configured everything properly, it may be the include/exclude pattern settings.
