If you're able to copy to the same target from the UI and using the same
user, it may be an issue with your curl command. Can you verify in
Artifactory's request.log that the POST request is made under the expected
user?
You can check the effective permissions on the target folder from the UI or
by using this
query<http://www.jfrog.com/confluence/display/RTF/Artifactory+REST+API#ArtifactoryRESTAPI-EffectiveItemPermissions>
(you'd
need to run this one as an admin user).
Permissions are configured using permission
targets<http://www.jfrog.com/confluence/display/RTF/Managing+Permissions>
